Social-Emotional Learning and Sex Education Programs for Girls, and Trans & Nonbinary Youth 10-15 Years Old

Nima Doyle, Participant

Olympia, WA 2023

"I participated in one of their summer programs in 2021. I was nervous and anxious because I just moved to Olympia from Japan and I didn't know anyone. I was first reluctant to go to the Girls Empowerment program. What I didn't know was that I was going to have so much fun. This organization has such a safe environment. It gave me confidence and I was ready to start my new school. Hopefully, I can share my experience and help other girls feel more empowered and confident."

Our Empowerment Programs educate, nurture and empower girls, and trans & nonbinary youth to deepen their unique character, cultivate self-confidence, develop core life skills, and implement daily self-care through an innovative journey towards self-discovery.

Calling all school-aged kids!

Empowerment 4 Girls is excited to announce a new, free early literacy program. Story Hour 2 Empower is for all kids ages 5-10 (younger siblings welcome, too!).

Kids will hear a cool, empowering story (read by an E4G alum), participate in an optional discussion, and complete a related synthesis activity like an art project.

Book selection, discussion questions, and synthesis activities are being curated and created by E4G board member and certified English Language Arts teacher, Michele Drake Hyde.
